Flyschool’s Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) course develops the competencies required to operate safely and effectively in a multi-pilot cockpit. MCC training focuses particularly on crew coordination, communication, task sharing, decision-making, leadership, and the management of normal, abnormal, and emergency situations. Throughout the course, students also strengthen essential airline pilot competencies such as situational awareness, workload management, problem-solving, operational discipline, and the consistent application of standard operating procedures.
Flyschool delivers its MCC training in approved simulators based on the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737, two of the most widely operated aircraft families in commercial aviation. Students become familiar with the operating philosophy, procedures, and automation associated with each manufacturer, gaining valuable preparation for airline selection processes, type rating courses, and their future entry into commercial air transport operations as professional pilots.

Flyschool offers a progressive training pathway that takes students from their first introduction to commercial jet aircraft through to preparation for the airline environment. The Jet Orientation Course (JOC) provides familiarisation with aircraft performance, automation, procedures, and cockpit management, while the Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC) develops the competencies required to operate effectively in a multi-pilot cockpit.
As part of our commitment to training excellence, our professional pilot programmes include the Airline Pilot Standards Multi Crew Cooperation Course (APS MCC), the most advanced level of multi-pilot training. The course introduces students to airline standards, procedures, and pilot competencies, preparing them for airline selection processes, type rating training, and their future transition into commercial airline operations.

The Jet Orientation Course (JOC) supports the transition from basic commercial pilot training, typically completed on piston-engine aircraft, to the operation of commercial jet aircraft. The course is delivered in approved simulators based on the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 and develops handling skills, situational awareness, and familiarity with the performance, automation, and procedures associated with jet aircraft operations.
Completion of a JOC provides valuable preparation for airline selection processes and, in some cases, may be required or regarded as a preferred qualification by airlines.

During the simulator sessions, students apply and further develop the knowledge acquired during the theoretical phase through manual and automated flight exercises, as well as normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures. The training includes scenarios such as in-flight depressurisation, electrical and hydraulic failures, system malfunctions, and asymmetric thrust following an engine failure.
The training includes LOFT (Line-Oriented Flight Training) sessions based on complete flight sectors and scenarios representative of airline operations. During these sessions, students are required to manage workload, coordinate effectively as a flight crew, make sound operational decisions, and apply the appropriate procedures in complex situations and emergencies.
