The school has signed an agreement with the aircraft engine manufacturer Continental, the objective is to remotorize the entire fleet of Cessna 172 aircraft and train our mechanics to carry out all the revisions of this new technology that, far from traditional engines, integrates electronic management through FADEC unit, while part of the maintenance tasks will be carried out thanks to diagnostic software.
These engines offer us high performance thanks to the turbo and electronic management, allowing better flight performances, higher cruising altitudes for the instrument flight phases, lower fuel consumption, greater autonomy and a lower noise level inside the cabin.
Simultaneously, diesel-powered aircraft are being equipped with Garmin navigation equipment and EFIS displays.
